Data Deletion Instructions

Overview

DropIn (operated by Wildfire Growth LLC) gives you control over the data associated with your account, including any data we receive from connected platforms such as Facebook and Instagram. This page explains how to remove that data, either yourself within the app or by requesting full deletion from us.

1. Disconnect a Connected Account

To stop DropIn from accessing a specific social media account and to delete the access tokens we store for it, disconnect the account in the app:

  • Sign in at app.getdropin.io.
  • Go to Settings → Connections.
  • Select the Facebook Page or Instagram account and choose Disconnect.

Disconnecting revokes and deletes the stored access tokens for that account. You can also remove DropIn directly from your Facebook or Instagram account settings under Apps and Websites.

2. Delete a Workspace

Deleting a workspace permanently removes the content, scheduled posts, uploaded media, stored credentials, and connected social accounts that belong to it. From Settings, open the workspace you want to remove and choose Delete workspace. This action cannot be undone.

3. Delete Your Entire Account

To delete your DropIn account and all personal data associated with it, email hello@getdropin.io from the email address on your account, with the subject line "Delete my account".

We will delete or anonymize your personal data within 30 days of verifying your request, except where we are required to retain certain records to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations.

What gets deleted:

  • Your account profile (name, email, profile image).
  • Access tokens and connection data for all linked accounts, including Facebook and Instagram.
  • Content, scheduled posts, and media you created in DropIn.
